👑 Dear Woman — You Are Not Too Much

April 8, 20264 min read
You have been told to shrink yourself — your dreams, your voice, your emotions. Today I want to tell you: you were never too much. The world was just too small.

Dear Woman,

I want to talk to you about the word "too."

Too emotional. Too loud. Too ambitious. Too sensitive. Too much.

How many times have you been handed those words like they were facts about you — by a partner, a parent, a colleague, a society that had already decided exactly how much space a woman was allowed to take up?

And how many times did you quietly fold yourself smaller, dimming your light so others wouldn't feel blinded?

The Truth They Never Told You

You were never too much. You were exactly enough — in a room that was too small for what you carried.

Your emotions are not a liability. They are data. They are depth. They are the very intelligence that makes you extraordinary at loving, leading, and healing.

Your ambition is not threatening. It is vision. It is the future trying to speak through you.

Your sensitivity is not weakness. It is the ability to feel the world more fully than most people ever will — and that is a gift, even when it hurts.

What Shrinking Cost You

Every time you made yourself smaller, you didn't just lose space — you lost a piece of your original self. The girl who laughed too loudly. The teenager who had enormous dreams. The woman who knew exactly what she wanted before the world taught her to want less.

She is still in there. And she is tired of hiding.

Permission to Expand

Today, I want to give you something no one else may have offered you recently: permission.

Permission to take up space — in the conversation, in the room, in your own life.
Permission to want big things without apologising for the size of your dreams.
Permission to feel deeply without calling it dramatic.
Permission to be exactly as much as you are — without editing yourself for someone else's comfort.

A Final Word

The right people — the ones meant to be in your life — will not ask you to be less. They will celebrate every inch of your wholeness. They will make you feel like your "too much" is actually their "exactly right."

Wait for those people. Become those people for others. And in the meantime — take up every bit of space you were born to fill.

You are not too much, love. You are long overdue.
